Daewoo Engineering & Construction Vietnam Co., Ltd (Daewoo E&C Vina) was established on January 5, 2017, marking the official presence of the Daewoo E&C construction company in Vietnam. However, Daewoo E&C was the first Korean construction company to set up a representative office in Vietnam since June 1991 – even before the two countries officially established diplomatic relations. This shows Daewoo’s broad vision and belief in the potential of the Vietnamese market. Daewoo E&C has successfully participated in investment and development of many projects in Vietnam such as: Daewoo hotel complex, Daeha commercial center and office, Starlake new urban area. Stemming from cultural similarities as well as the goal of expanding investment scale globally. Daewoo E&C chose Vietnam as a key market to expand the construction market and execute the projects of real estate development into existence. contributing to create a modern urban appearance for Vietnam and at the same time building the value chains of Daewoo Group in Vietnam.
