The company has just been approved to increase capital by 105 million USD to develop two new urban area projects in Thai Binh and Dong Nai.

Daewoo E&C coordinates as a joint venture of DECV-THT-Gip Land-Zup to develop the new urban area of ​​Kien Giang (Commercial Name: Fo;Res Starlake) in Thai Binh.

The project covers an area of over 96ha, with a total investment of 8,233 billion VND. The investor expects to create a Korean-style ecological urban area with prime location right in the city center, integrating modern amenities, contributing to landscape appearance and life quality improvement for the people..

According to Daewoo E&C’s representative, the company not only focuses on investing in projects in big cities but also expands development in localities, contributing to the balanced urbanization development of Vietnam. In addition, the company signed a cooperation agreement with a leading construction enterprise in Vietnam to deploy human resources and enterprises of Vietnam to participate in Daewoo E&C’s foreign projects.

Daewoo E&C also launched the new brand Fo;Res for all urban areas in Vietnam. Like the meaning of the brand, the company wants to introduce real estate products that are in harmony between nature – the forest and urban areas, emphasizing the relaxation and resting.

“With high-class technical and technological capabilities, Daewoo E&C will create high-quality urban areas and will make every effort to improve and enhance the living environment for Vietnamese people,” the company’s leader emphasized.

In the southern region, Daewoo E&C will cooperate with Taekwang Vina to develop the Long Tan Phu Hoi Urban Area Project (Commercial Name: Fo;Res Centerm) in Nhon Trach, Dong Nai.

This is a 55ha project located at the heart of Nhon Trach District, close to the administrative center where synchronous infrastructure is being invested. It is expected that the investor will build a variety of types, from low-rise housing, high-rise apartments, complexes and social housing. The project will also dedicate a lot of area to traffic infrastructure, trees, schools, medical facilities, public utilities, commercial centers… to serve the needs of residents.

Currently, Fo;Res Centerm is at the stage of architectural design and infrastructure construction. The 1st launch phase with 306 low-rise villas including product types: garden villa, single villa, shop villa, shophouse, townhouse will soon be introduced to the market.

Representative of Daewoo E&C will help this urban area develop synchronous infrastructure with full modern, smart and environmentally friendly functions.

“This place will become a new center located between Long Thanh international airport and the center of Ho Chi Minh City, benefiting from Nhon Trach bridge connecting the two areas. Fo;Res Centerm will be an urban highlight and create development momentum for Nhon Trach district, contributing to the economic development of Dong Nai province”, the investor representative emphasized.

Daewoo E&C has been present in Vietnam since 1992. After developing the Daewoo Hotel complex and the Daeha Commercial and Office Center, Daewoo E&C continued to build the 186-hectare Starlake urban area project in the West of Tay Ho Tay area. The enterprise established the legal entity Daewoo E&C Vina in 2017 to seek and develop potential new projects, thereby affirming its desire to continue reinvesting in the Vietnamese market as well as contributing to the economic and urban development of Vietnam.
