DESIGN SENIOR SPECIALIST

1. COMPANY BACKGROUND

We have participated in many projects in Vietnam since 1996. To expand our business, we are newly setting up a local subsidiary named as “DAEWOO E&C VINA” in Hanoi, Vietnam. So we are now seeking well-qualified candidate for our local subsidiary in Hanoi.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Position title: design senior specialist.
• Duration: 1-year contract with possibility of extension.
• Location: based on Site Office of High-rise Complex Project at Land Lot K8HH1 situated at Centre of Tay Ho Tay New Town, Xuan La ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city, Vietnam
• Duties and responsibilities:
• Reviewing and giving assessment to design documents of all stages and prepare evaluation report.
• Coordinate between different design consultants. Responsible for the quality and quantity of design documents. Ensure design documents are up-to-date and complete within given deadlines, as well as complying with local codes and standards.
• Work with other departments in the preparation of information and documents that provide for legal, investment, sale, marketing, tender, etc.
• When required, propose competent design consultants/material and equipment suppliers that conform to each project’s requirements.
• When necessary conduct site visits for ensuring construction complying with design intent and met per the expectations of the investors, business and legal requirements.
• Requirements:
• University Degree in related majors to architecture
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in construction companies, real estate developers, or architecture firms.
• Proficient in English or Korean (Korean is preferable).
• High understanding of the architectural design process.
• Knowledge of local code & standard, other regulations, and guidelines in area of expertise.
• Excellent computer skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup or other 3D programs.
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Good interpersonal communication and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently and work well under high pressure.
